More About the Mitchell Ekedede Brain Injury Foundation

Foundation Member Activity

Foundation members will develop relationships with like-minded brain injury associations to create a cohesive support network.  They will engage the community to help spread awareness for brain injury issues.  Foundation members will also stay abreast of the most current information on best practices and research breakthroughs in brain injury, so that they may bring that knowledge back to the patients and families who are suffering from this debilitating problem.

Some of the Foundation's top priorities:

  • Our goal is to become the leading force driving brain injury awareness, education, research, prevention, treatment and advocacy.
  • We will strive to provide a sustained public awareness campaign designed to prevent Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) or Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).
  • Reducing the incidence of brain injuries is our ultimate goal.
